There’s nothing on that portion of the box, so probably the lazy/easy way of removing a shipping label.

450 is still way too expensive for a board.
And I’d be wary of someone selling a thousand dollar board that just came out for 450.
Is not shipping label. There was a microcenter RTV(return to vendor, aka refurbished or tested) or just plain returned item. And they just took it out. Still covered by msi warranty. As long as it works is fine. If you need a receipt, you can head to any microcenter they will give you one.

450 for a used mobo… is there something super specific this has that you need? There are soooo many good brand new ones for that or less.
I have only seen this on used or refurbished items that I have purchased.
There was some kind of sensitive data on there. The easiest way to take a sticker off is with the full first layer.
It could hint at some kind of customer interaction before you, make of that what you will.
Are you buying from a reputable site like eBay? If not ask to see a pic of the socket pins, last thing you want is bent pins and no chance of money back.
How enraged/disappointed will you be if even one thing is broken (pins, connections, slots, etc…)? Because that would drive me nuts.
The price does seem fair looking at others on Ebay but you can offer less for a local purchase. Try $350.
Having “godlike” on something like this seems like bad juju.
What’s different between this one and Asrock 670e steel legend? The one in the pic is like 1300 bucks? What does this do better ?
Looks like it was an open-box label from Micro Center. Probably removed it to sell it for more than they actually paid.
It’s the clearance tag from Micro Center. the guy doesn’t want you to know that he bought it open box.
