    Maybe monitor has built in xhair see if can disable it

    Run some pixel refreshing software. It might just be stuck, or it might be dead. Manufacturers will allow 1 or 2 dead pixels per panel and it still passes QC. If you want to just return it and try again, you are welcome to, but just know it can easily happen again, so probably try some software first to see if you can get it unstuck or at least behaving better than only pure red. If not, try your luck again and exchange it.

    I have a pixel on mine that gets stuck green every now and then. I just gently rub it a bit and it always goes away.

    Which monitor is this? Are you using VRR, by any chance? I had the exact same problem with a brand new HP omen 34c. Red pixel only present with freesync enabled. Had to return it…

    Check your settings you might have a cross hair setting

    I’d return it if you just bought it. Just one of those things that annoyingly happens, but you don’t have to stay stuck with it.

    It’s stuck. You can try unsticking it with software. If it doesn’t work and it’s too near the centre, you should definitely get it replaced. Some people aren’t bothered by it if it’s further to the edge, they feel that it’s worth their trouble. If you’re bothered by it, definitely return it or get it replaced.

    Yes its a bad pixel.. Sometimes you can lightly tap on them and they’ll come back but not for long. I’d RMA.

    Return it. Don’t just live with it.

    I bought a second monitor for my set up and it had a dead pixel in the very corner of the screen. I thought I could live with it, but man, my eyes just kept looking at that damn dead pixel. So I returned it.

    Try to unstick it there are software online for it. Takes like 20 mins of wait 900 weeks for RMA
