I thought the same! It is useful sometimes too
It’s because it was bugged. If you had one equipped you would get instantly killed instead of just getting downed
It was in for a short period before being removed. I know at codnext teep got the bug where you were insta killed if you stowed or dropped the pistol after having it equipped (was a lot of “new game same bugs posts about it) and there was some sort of bug people were abusing where they could stay in the gas the entire game without dying so it could’ve been associated with that too and removed until fixed. Didn’t see any posts about it being removed though, it just disappeared.
i could’ve sworn i picked one up when wz3 came out, come to think about it i haven’t seen it in a long while
