Hope her intentions weren’t gaming with it.

  2. My daughter wanted a gaming PC, I gave her a workstation.

Ignore other comments this will run games pretty solidly for the next few years, and upgrades can always happen down the line (next Christmas lol)

The daughter is 2 years old isn’t she? 😀

I have had some weird noise issues with that rm850e PSU, had it returned and replaced 2 times, the current one has the same problem 🤷‍♂️. Hope your turns out all good!

Be very careful with the tempered glass! It could easily explode if you put it on a hard surface like marble or ceramic.

That’s gotta be a Micro Center cop, look at those tags and that Inland Performance SSD! 👀

I take it this is also a present of ‘let’s make building this a project to do together to bond’? Highly approve.

“And if you can’t build it, I’ll make the effort and keep it”

In all realness that is awesome and a fantastic present. Good for you and hope your daughter enjoys it!

Hey I know I’m late to the party but forget everyone saying bad things about the GPU, I see it as an upside tbh. This can be a workhorse or a gaming station, and the hardware for a gift to your daughter is important but I think you made the perfect choice, if she needs an upgrade or just when it comes time to, you can reach her even more about replacing and upkeep of the parts of her PC. I’m glad people like you exist because this is some good childhood material and that is something that the world is lacking these days sadly. Thank you for being a good person.

That tempered glass and that marble top is giving me anxiety haha

Fantastic, although for now it may not feel like it for her, but building it is a gift in of itself, once she turns it on the first time and it manages to post, she’ll be happy
