Figured this would keep my pc quite cool (it’s currently around 0 celcius outisde), but i’m slightly worried about condensation. If my understanding of physics is correct, the only place where conensation could really form is on the hot side of the glass (facing the camerq). Any thoughts?

Nice, but why?
Cool air can’t contain as much moisture as hotter air, so condensation forms whenever hot, moist air meets something colder.
So yeah, as long as the PC is only drawing in outside air I can’t see condensation forming on its insides either, at least as long as the air temperature is colder than the PC.

i live in a portable cabin thing, basically a box with a door.
its open to outside air 24/7(i have pets and have to leave the door open), it gets down to -5c in winter
and my pc is fine, never had an issue in 3 years
2nd PC case is literally next to balcony door we often open and PC has no issues with cold air

What temps are you getting now?
I feel like as it’s gold outside your room is colder yet pc won’t get as hot and as well u get some second hand heat to warm your room ? I really don’t understand this concept .
I have my pc oriented so it exhausts out the window but this takes it to new extremes
This reminds me of the air conditioning we used to have in the car as kids. 4WD air conditioning we called it. 4 windows down.
It wasn’t very effective.

I would be building a pipe system to draw cold air from outside, so i can turn if off to avoiding condensation, but you do you, as long as you keep your pc on you should be fine.

It’s funny your concern is the condensation when my concern is your heating bill. A plastic sheet and a PC is going to essentially offer zero insulation.
I suspect your heating bill will be high enough with this approach to offset a basic water cooled system. Baring that you should look at AC venting to draw in and expel cold air with a much smaller footprint. 4 inch flexible duct piping and a window duct kit should do the trick for a low budget DIY approach.
Edit: also, what is going on the with blinds in this situation? This looks also like a really quick way to destroy those as you have it set up.
I would rotate the PC 90 degrees so that it helps heat the room.
Well, this is a unique level of stupid.
So I’ve contemplated doing something like this, but the condesation crew scared me away. My office is an old laundry room, so I’ve actually got a dryer exhaust vent in the room. I was thinking about hooking a flexible tube up to it and piping winter air into my PC’s intake fan.
Condensation is not what you need to worry about. Frost is going to short components fine on its own.
A bird will make a nest in there.
