I’ve never had my own pc until today. What techniques are you guys using to shatter the glass panel for the airflow mod I keep seeing?

Move it a little to the left. That should do it.

  3. Just never set the case down on the panel and never set the panel down on a hard, unyielding surface. If you do that, you start the timer until the panel breaks.

Honestly though just look at it funny or yell near it … chuck a pool ball at it…there are a number of ways to shatter a side pannel
    Just be creative

I throw bricks at mine to make it stronger

You could throw a spark plug at it.

    Percussive maintenence w/ ceramic tools.

Settings it in the floor, especially if the floor is literally any but carpet, or the PCs close to a vent, generally you should just immediately get it out on a more temperature safe surface, or take the panel off until you can get a desk that can fit your PC on it

    There are 4 options.

    1) Be a clumsy fuck.

    2) Hit the resonant frequency of your panel via overclocking.

    3) Sit it on a concrete/ceramic floor like a numpty.

    4) German suplex.

I usually use a dremel, that gives it that nice combination of cut and shatter.

    Do absolutely nothing.

    It’ll break without warning

It is similar like the classic Starfighter meme we had in Germany in the 70s. How do you can get a Starfighter jet? You buy a couple of hectare land and wait.

In your case, you have the case, all you need to do is to wait. It will for certain find a reason to shatter.

I want one of those semi shattered panels and incase it in resin so it doesn’t far apart

If you don’t have tiled floor, you won’t be able to do the mod

Have I missed something? Why on earth would you intentionally break your side panel?

Step one, keep away from carpet. I see you already failed that one.. tsk

Keep using the pc like you don’t have a glass side panel and sooner or later it’ll mod itself. A bit like how my clothes eventually cleaned themselves when I lived with my parents.

Keep your pc on your desk. Anything on the floor is going to be a dust vacuum. If you’re leaving it there, clean your filters and fans monthly
