Anyone else always get tripped up by “missions” you just don’t like while briwsing the map?

Well if its the cybered up monk, its worth doing just for the Smg early game. 😁😁

For me it’s the street races. No Claire, I’m not gonna drive in your stupid grudge race thing.

The only missions I outright skip are the Delamain missions. Tracking down the cars and meeting each new personality is fun the first time, but tedious and boring on each subsequent playthrough.

You didn’t do the “talking vending machine” quests? Are you a god damn monster?!?!?!? Brendan was and is one of the best characters in this game, change my mind.

Or skippy, nah actually I never get tired of skippy

The monk is fine. Go kill some Maelstrom. Laugh at the monk telling you should have done it without bloodshed.

  7. tf do you want from Brendon and the Monk, these are easily two of the best sidequests in the game

  8. I actually loved the monk missions. Especially after a long day at work and just zoning out to whatever meditation set he had for you. Was zen as f

Yes! Usually when the map is starting to get empty and I realise I might actually have to go see Hanako. I’ll get really excited seeing a new quest to find its just Gary ranting or a monk talking to you again.

Man..I do this every time! I feel so bad.

That’s how I see Skippy. That thing can sit in the alley.

The Imagine Missions are boring. I kind of see what they mightve been going for the first time around but repeated playthroughs I just skip outright.

Skippy. I did it once and I really don’t wanna get stuck in that alley talking to it again. Eventually I will just to get rid of the marker

This depends entirely on which monk you’re talking about. The meditation Monk is chill I always give this man my money; the maelstrom monk I only do to get that SMG, wish I could shoot him and The ungrateful doctor.

  15. ApplicationCalm649

I skip everything that I know doesn’t involve combat anymore.

  16. Au contraire. The little moments of zen are some of my favorites, and Brendan is my homie for life.

  17. BlazeCrow

Which monk? I prefer the one that gives me the brain dance

  18. joshford1992

Whats wrong with the monk? You get an apartment item.

Also why you gotta hate on Brenden?!

  19. Dveralazo

The monk ones. I came to shoot and eviscerate people, not to meditate. Why would I want to meditate in my first person shooter game?

I personally don’t like the delamain missions, Brendon the talking vending machine was only really good because of Brian Dechart IMO

The SCSM was fun. Plus his color scheme was oddly satisfying especially at night. I wished he was put back, with no AI.

Is the talking vending machine missable? I don’t remember that one and I feel like I would if I played it

I have never seen one of those “talking vending machines”. But i have heard of them a lot. Either they are a meme and not real or i am just missing something 😭

  25. fostertheatom

I like both of those missions.

I do not think there is a single mission I skip on purpose. I like having a nice clean minimap.

  26. Fit-Heart8980

So they should code for missions you don’t like?

  27. Ringhillsta

Yeah with those exact missions too. I can’t stand them.

  28. sandchigger

I personally love the monk missions and I’m happy to keep stumbling over them.
