Yes, monitor brightness has become ridiculous. They should come with brightness set at ~20% from the factory, or only use that brightness with HDR **carefully**.
I run my 38GN950 at 30% and it’s bright enough.

I turn my neo G9 up to 50% if I’m playing a dark game during daylight. Normally set at 32% for evening gaming.
