As the title states I’m looking for a new desk for my gaming setup. I have recently bought myself a new PC but unfortunately due it being a full tower it doesn’t fit in the spot where I used to have my old one.
For reference I currently have an IKEA Fredde desk but looking for something that’s wide enough to fit everything on one tier instead of 3.
I’ve looked at doing the Alex desk they sell but wanted to ask if there’s some better options first before taking a trip their only to be disappointed.
This desk has to fit a lot on which I’ll list here.
Gaming PC (Fractal Meshify 2 Case) Monitor Arm (2x 27inch monitors) Mic+ Desk arm Corsair K70 MK2 keyboard Corsair M65 elite mouse PS5 + 2 x official chargers (4x controllers 2 on each) Xbox Controller Elgato Stream Deck Headset stand (doesn’t matter if it’s mounted under desk or on desk) Playstation Icon lights 2 x Bar lights (roughly 12L x 3W x 2D inches stood vertically) ADT RGB Desk mat Creative Pebble 2.1 PC Speakers(w/Floor/Desk Subwoofer)
Currently mounted on the back is: 8 plug Surge protector Cable trunking External HDD for PS5 4xUSB Hub
On one side Shelf is:
ASUS RT-AX82U WiFi Router(Will be willing to mount this somewhere if possible.
Top Shelf:
6x Figures (Various sizes. these can be moved if needed)
I’m struggling to find a desk long enough that won’t cost me an arm and a leg (Talking like £400+) and preferably in black as the rest of the furniture in the room is black, but as long as the lower half is black I don’t mind a more natural wood top.
Any and all suggestions are welcome and yes I’m aware I will have to redo the cable management again.

We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!
To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! i was going to suggest an L shape desk but with 2 monitors it could work maybe a problem

Just a suggestion, but wall mounting the monitors can help with space and open up the types of desks you can use. I wall mounted my triple screens and doing so made a huge difference in the amount of desk space I needed/could use.
