Did you notice it in the storage apparatus before it was installed? It actually has your V’s facial features, because it’s literally replacing your current “face plate.”
I think this was the point of the story where in character I was thinking “I shouldn’t have answered that phone call…” It was a lot of fun to play, but from this point on I felt like there were no good choices left to make.

Can we talk about how shitty this item is gameplay wise? It allows you to lose police stars immediately (not like you already could hide behind a bin in a dark alley and wait a minute) and have a cooldown OF 20 IRL MINUTES. CDprkt should make this item somewhat useful. They probably don’t care that much but idea of scanning someones face while taking them down and stealing thier face so cameras and enemies won’t detect you sounds awesome. Yeah it might be op but at this stage of the game you’re a endgame V, the most OP character in cyberpunk so this fun reworked mask ability would be really cool and give player more ways to enjoy the game.

Not gonna lie: didn’t love the idea of replacing my fleshy bits with a face plate. I like trying to maintain a little humanity and not borg out too much.

Yep I saw the face in the store before, in the jar. But I did not guess it was for me. I was a quite angry at Reed for not telling me and that’s one of the reasons I made the choice to not go with him at the end.
Felt very disturbed during the scene where the ripperdoc make the face surgery
