I pulled a Linus and put my primary personal Windows 11 machine in my garage via fiberoptic DP 1.4 cable and USB 3.1 over Cat6a. The MacBook Pro is for work and I connect everything through a L1Techs single display-two computer KVM. MBP uses a CalDigit TB4 dock.
Cables are still a bit of a mess as I replace my UPS with one I can mount under my desk.
