What’s the point of close range fights if the game follows the enemy perfectly for us? Aim assist is the strongest it has ever been, it feels even stronger than WZ2.
I’m not touching right joystick at all here, only left joystick. You can all try this out by yourself and see it. Such a strong assist is reducing the fun of the new great movement. We’ve needed a nerf for years now.
It’s the only chance we have against the hackers on PC tho

It’s always been this strong, give or take minor adjustments.
Cod had rotation aim assist, that functioned in the exact same way, all the way back in 2007 when I first started playing cod as my main game.
It’s just more documented now.
I have used the same “tricks?” of mostly aiming by strafing to engage aim assist for 15 years now. Rotational and slow down have always been this strong. it was this strong in mw19 and warzone 1 also when cod got popular with the new bunch, and all the battlefield refuges moved over.
It’s just people are moaning more now! Warzone 2 inherited the final lost battlefield players, the halo community, and with DMZ the tarkov abandonees. And now we are having year old conversations all over again with these new player bases.

Cod, for as long as it’s been the FPS king, has been a console/controller focused FPS game. At this point, people need to catch up with decade old news.
There are very heavily mouse and key focused fps games, like CSGO, that are very popular, and give everything that mouse players pretend to want.
But the ones moaning that console cod focuses on controller players, aren’t good enough to play it. Simple as that.

People want (as proven by it’s continued popularity) a casual experience. I’m all for giving mouse players a bit of aim assist to level the playing field if it helps.
It’s here to stay! DEAL WITH IT!
