After doing 3 HVTs, 3 spore controls, 2 outlasts and 1 deliver cargo in tier 3 this is the loot I came out with. The sigil was gifted by a stranger.
Went in fresh, after lagging out the previous game, with just a weapon, an epic aether tool and a refined crystal.
Not only have they nerfed the metas and made the game harder to play but feels like they’ve also decreased weight of high tier loot drops.

I’ve farmed over 100 contracts so far in tier 3 after this update and have yet to see a schematic, best thing I’ve enquired was a single refined crystal other than that its been rare tools and regular crystals. I either have the worst RNG known to mankind or they dropped the rates to almost zero, the game has crashed more often then the game dropping me anything good.
Seems that the gameplay loop is that you go to tire 3 to get the sigil and then you go In to the dark aether and get a elder sigil and then from the elder sigil you get the good loot. I just did an elder sigil run and left the game with nothing but good loot a full back pack. I think the problem is is that this kind of extraction based build up was missing at launch and it felt like red zone was the peak which you could easily get to as a solo in one game boom you’ve completed the game. But now it’s being shaped in to the extraction based looter shooter hoard mode it’s suppose to be and I for one love the game play loop you’ve just got to play the meta and gameplay loop and I promise the loot and the fun comes, after 4 crashes yesterday I had lost everything now after 2 runs my stash and my back pack is full of good loot and I’m ready to take on the red worm at least 2 times and ergo bar my skill issue hopefully getting the new schematics but if I fail I’ll rinse and repeat again an till I achieve unlocking everything. It’s a fun challenging mode im sorry to ramble on but all the moaning and criticism is going to bury what is a game mode with massive potential. And that bothers me.

No wonder people dupe when the loot is dogshit. I’d like to think they will improve drop rates but considering they’re selling 2 single use refined crystals in a bundle for almost $30 I highly doubt it. This mode fucking sucks and needs to mirror the crafting/upgrade systems from Cold War.
game suck tbh. $70 dlc. I’m waiting for a better game.

Yeah the loot in game sucks in general, I’ve done at least 100 t3 contracts and the loot is trash. I hate cod came out with such a great game mode and fucked it up. I was holding out till season 1 hoping they would drop great content all we got was nerfs and bugs. Dark aether zone is cool but not enough. Cooldowns are 2 fucking days? I wish I didn’t waste my time and money.
I get nothing but a single ammo mod in T3 so I stopped wasting my time there
