I would flick it with my finger a couple times lol, but looks like it did the trick.
Soft taps is my usual go to, I often try to use a pencil rubber too, no risk of scuffs etc.
Make sure you spit on it first

I have done this but push finger on dead pixel area and roll the point of your finger without taking it off screen (usually discolors the area while doing this but will return to normal)

Not always. Didnt work on mine :/
“Massage” should be the term, that’s what we old folks called it back when LCDs first came out.
