I mean, I built my keyboard so I guess the next logical step would be building my own mouse?
Probably the only way I’m going to find one with a satisfying amount of heft to it. Seriously, it feels like everything on the market is way too light. Feels like I can shatter them under the weight of my hand’s shadow alone.

If only it used a powerplay donor, couldn’t ditch my power play as a feature.

If that mouse is still functional and intact in a month, I’d be amazed.
3D printing is nice for gimmicks and prototypes, but anything with a service life or anything that needs to sustain a load must never be made with a 3D printer. The material quality is almost nonexistent at best, and that’s assuming you have perfect print settings with good lamination of layers (never happens)
The things that will break here are the screw threads, mouse buttons, battery clip, and the fancy layered structure in the design.
Just remember that every time you 3D print a serviceable part, an engineer will have an aneurysm trying to work out what possessed you to do that.

I honestly love the idea and look but I’m not a fan of how the guy’s not releasing the files under the excuse of convenience for the people using it.
