My sisters graduated from high school this year so I decided to get them new set ups. One of them plays on a shitty gaming laptop and the other plays on ps4

    I love it and hope they put it to good use and build it themselves. Putting together PCs isn’t hard but women are discouraged from believing they can do technical/mechanical work. I say this as an engineer who is female and has worked in aerospace and robotics most recently. It’s so important to show girls they can excel in STEM.

    Before you upgrade her games…make sure that she isn’t playing cross platform and that the games she playing on the console isn’t exclusive. If it is, then all the friends she made on that will be there and may not switch over.
