Remember when Nvidia compared the RT performance of the 4060 to a card that doesnt even have RT

  1. remember the AMD 8k 130fps bullshit, they can’t even RT at 1080p, it’s almost 2024, they lied in 2022

i mean, yeah taken out of context it looks bad, but the press release video where you pulled this still image from, they state they are comparing performance between the 1060/2060/3060/4060.

  3. You’re out of context. The 2060 and 3060 were included there. They used frame-gen to show the 4060 was less than twice as fast as the 3060. With frame-gen off, it’s fairly clear to see the 3060 was winning more than it was losing.

If the question is “what frame rate can you get on the card with RT on?” then it’s a valid comparison

Great example of conflation though. (clearly they compare more than just the two as pointed out)

Clearly Companies who advertise can get scummy and untruthful at times, And it is up to us the consumer and reviewers of hardware to make sure they stay in line and point it out when its actually there.

    Cheers!

  6. 4060’s power usage can’t compete with 1060 in RT.

0 watts will cost you less money at the end of the year than 105w … So that’s a win in my book.

(said the guy who owns a 500W 4090)

Yeah but 0W? That sounds pretty efficient to me.
