It’s a carry over from dmz. Dmz it was much easier to get destroyed, so you could change relatively quick if you had a bad game.

What’s even the point of having operator slots? Am I missing something? Why would I split my loot in two like that?

Just do what I did. Play with that operator until the game bugs/lags out and you lose everything. Took about 5 games and voila, easy operator change.

But if you do want to change operators just
pop tombstone with a stowed self revive large rucksack 3 plate jug streak and durable gas mask. Change that operator and go into the next game all those items are waiting for you in your tombstone with whatever money you had last game too. Only know this cause I changed an operator for the act 3 completion skin and it was very easy

I mean yeah it’s a pain but you can realistically get everything back from 1 deployment.

There shouldn’t even be different operator slots in this mode. Killstreak and such should just be in their own version of the acquisitions tab.

While I don’t like the system either, it’s apparent that they’re gonna sell operator slots eventually. That’s what they did for DMZ. More slots => more operators you can use => more reasons for you to stock up good gear.

Carry over from DMZ
Not really a big deal considering your stash is shared across all of your operators, and everything else like backpacks, killstreaks, vests, gasmasks, and self-revives are extremely easy to get once you know where to go for them.
