But on the plus side, it’s adding some stuff I used mods to achieve before now. So just a few less things needed for updating.

I really need to read through the patch notes and see if there’s mods I’m using that I can do without. I already know I’m going to have to wait for the core stuff to get updated before installing the update.

It saddens me a little knowing I can’t play 2.1 when it releases because of the core mods that will need an update first, so here’s to a swift update!
At least I won’t need the NCART mod anymore.
My favorite being Weathermancer, choosing the weather I want to play in is awesome–even in the Badlands.

I literally have like the 4 scripts things, plus 3 actual mods soooo. Im always aware that games without mod managers can go south really quick so I just limit myself to the essentials.

It’s better than the planned updates that are going to drop for fallout 4 and Skyrim eventually. Will permanently wipe tons of mods off the map that are no longer supported by the creators.
That said my favorite cyberpunk mod is by far the hardcore mod with realistic damage. So fun for stealth runs and makes every fire fight a challenge. Almost beat the game and pl with it so I’ll wait to finish before I update.

I just dont use mods, get shit on
Edit: imagine downvoting cause the way you play the game changes a little bit

Remember folks, set steam to only update the game when you launch it, and then close steam and only launch the game from the literal cyberpunk.exe in the game folder.
This is how you keep your mods post patch until they get updated.

On my pause screen on PS5 it says 2.02 on the bottom but it doesn’t seem updated? I’m confused

I haven’t played since I stopped updating my heavily modded 1.12 version, and having just now reinstalled the game I’m a bit worried loading up my save again…I think I’ll have some reconstruction ahead of me.
But looking forward to all the new content.

Some mods I use weren’t updated for over 2 years… fuck me..

If you need mods to enjoy the game do you really enjoy the game? It’s fine to lie to us but don’t lie to yourself
