This is primarily targeted towards North American Duos. I haven’t been playing regularly the last year but still come on enough and would rarely come across a bot in duos, maybe 1 or 2 every 10 games.
But since this last update every single match has been 60 bots. It’s a consistent 60-62 in every match and almost always 25 Xbox and 15 PlayStation players. It’s strange how consistent it’s been in the pubg lookup as if it’s automated now. Running into 5-10 bots a games atleast and sometimes just driving by a group of multiple bots fighting each other.
Duos has always been great in the past and always difficult but the last few weeks or more have been a joke.

Adding here screen shots of the last bunch of games. You’ll see that it’s 60-62 bots every games. 25-35 Xbox and the remaining filled out with PlayStation. This is too consistent to just be random luck or something. It’s loading 60 bots and then filling out the rest or something.

Probably the time of day you are playing? I rarely run into bots on duos
Game is not as thriving as it once was due to all the other BR’s….stick to solos or quads
Check your cross play setting. Pubg settings have a tendancy to change themsens
Do you have long waiting times until the match or timer starts?
I have only 0-4 Bots per match in Duos (playing in Europe), so it has to be the lack of other players on your side imo
