With the chapter 5 update they brought weapon attachments and also a train in the game. The weapon attachments work just like they do with warzone ground loot guns where the rareity is decided by the number of attachments the gun has (1 being lowest and 5 being highest). They also overhauled the movement so you can slide, slide cancel and mantle. With this and the zero build mode, I can’t help but feel like their trying to speak to warzone players more. I don’t know about you guys, but to me I feel like their trying to steal some warzone players to go play Fortnite.

Theyre coming for blood for sure. Youtube a streamer showing off the new map…I heard someone mention “blackout vibes” but to me it def had a more WZ feel with the POI’s this season.
Im actually not looking forward to this change….but thats how FN is. They change things up every 2-3 months so the game doesnt get stale. you adapt as the season goes on….and stuff you dont like at first grows on you….then they change it up. Its a wayyy different experience playing FN vs WZ

While I have never played fortnite ( and probably never will ) what i have seen they listen to their community
Considering that MWII/Warzone 2.0 has been overall weak, I can’t blame them for pouncing on an opportunity before the new, better Warzone map drops and overall gameplay overhaul happens with DLC Warfare 2.5 .

Warzone WAS one of the best BR games when it first came out. It just was super fast and clean and shots registered and felt good.
Allowing a mode like this in Fortnite would be sick. Especially after Warzone fucked up

As long there are no loadouts this is just annoying. One of the parts I disliked about Apex
nobody will change from cod to fortnite for this update, just like nobody will change from fortnite to cod for the goofy skins, they are sure trying to get players from cod or any other games but thats completely normal. Also why even comparing, cod has a FUCK TON of gun attachments for all the weapons out there compared to what fortnite might add

Actually, if you find a workbench to put attchments on your guns, you have pay with gold bars. Can’t wait for the long rumored fps mode. Keep in mind that weapon attachments in Fortnite were leaked a little over 2 years ago, so they really cooked, and I know that they’re cooking the fps mode the best they can.
I ain’t playing a battle royale game with cartoon characters.

This isn’t in reference to a customizable ‘loadout’ set pregame. It’s an in-game attachment system you can acquire as you go.
So far from Warzone but closer to something like Apex. But still different than Apex.
Fortnite people complaining Fortnite is turning into cod. Cod people complaining cod is turning into Fortnite. Meanwhile neither game plays like the other and other than them being BR shooters, I don’t see the similarities.
