I know the Dovahkiin theme (The Skyrim Dragonborn theme) by Jeremy Soule is hugely popular… but I’ve a no-stacking policy when it comes to this list, and I much prefer another his themes (a certain game from the golden age of D&D infinity engine). Along those same lines… The Legend of Zelda, Tetris, Super Mario and more recently L.A Noir, or The Last of Us… sure, they are iconic, others are awesome… but… hey this is a personal list.

Personal favorite shanty from Pillars 2 was Faithful Sailor.
There are only two games I actually have an OST to and listen to it. Fallout and Disco Elysium. Both feature music made by or inspired by real musicians.
Now, I can see myself going to a real orchestra playing music form HoMM3 for sure. But it`s not actually good to listen to at home.
The Portal songs are cool, I guess. Mortal Kombat techno version was fire.
Everything else is actually music for games not for listening. It can`t take away too much attention.

For me, Leaving Earth from Mass Effect 3 to this day makes me choke. It is so beautiful.
At Doom's Gate aka E1M1 is not by Mick Gordon. Gordon did the OST for the two most recent games, which feature a new version of At Doom's Gate. The og 1993 E1M1 was done by Bobby Prince.

P.S. Leisure Suit Larry 3 has the most underrated soundtrack of any Sierra game. Though my personal favorite LSL3 song is Cherri Tart's theme.
