    Some clarification for future needs:

    M.2 is a form factor, NVME is a memory protocol system. So a wifi chip and an SSD can both fit in an M.2 formfactor, but they are not called “M.2” 🙂

    Antennas for your wifi. If you unplug them, you would still get “signal” but really poor one with low range and slow speeds

    Those are antennas,
    its a WiFi+BT Module and those black and white wires are antennas

  14. That ain’t no m.2 SSD, that’s the WiFi card. Those are antennas.

  16. That actually could be Mini PCIe card (not m.2 like everybody are suggesting).

    Those were popular on older machines, before m.2 appeared.
