Its a 4000D airflow case. Brand new.
The back case fan was moved to the front, above the middle front case fan.
The be quiet Pure Rock 2 case fan was installed in the back instead.
I didn’t expect to see so much dust on the filter in such short time.
Did something go wrong or thats how it works?
Thanks a lot!

You have a pet and/or live somewhere humid?
The filter is doing its job. 9 days is a bit fast for that much dust though. Maybe you need to do some dusting and vacuuming in your house! 😄
No, good Lord no. Your place seems to be very dusty.
I haven’t cleaned my PC in like 2 years and it’s nowhere near that bad. Clean your place
Judging by that. You either have a very dusty home or someone smokes or both.
Make sure you give the filters a clean off and blow out your fans and machine every 7 days and give a good clean every month or two.
It’s acting double duty as your vacuum, maybe actually vacuum so it can take some time off?
Alternatively you are bringing in a lot of dust from somewhere.
Regardless, the cause of this issue is outside of the case and it’s just doing its best to keep it outside.
“it needs to put the lotion on the skin”
That is A LOT of dust. Mine doesn’t even look close like that after a month.
My computer looks this dusty after a few months (look at the top of the PC holy shit). If you don’t have a clear cause of the problem I highly suggest investing in a decent HEPA air filter because you are breathing in a crazy amount of dust.
Your room is a health hazard
you live near a construction site?
your PC literally turns into an air purifier.
Despite residing in one of the world’s most polluted cities, my PC never accumulates this much dust. Consider investing in an air purifier, my friend.
I would consider getting an air purifier if you’re already doing a good job with cleaning. You’re place seems very dusty.
You have hardfloring and that in 9 days thats crazy i have carpet and i think mine looks like that after several months
I placed my desktop on the floor, it looked like this, a lot faster compared to when it was on the desk. Maybe 1 year’s worth of dust on being on the floor, definitely not 9 days.
Man you need to buy yourself an air purifier. That amount of dust is obsurd!
Change the air filter in your house and start dusting/vacuuming more often.
Having your PC on the floor like that can also lead to more dust than normal.
1. use the vacuum cleaner from time to time (I reduced my dust with a air cleaner)
2. don’t put it on the floor where all the dust gathers. A carpet would be even worse.
3. don’t „blow it away“ or it will find its way back
You mentioned a dryer nearby. If the dryer vent hose is not connected correctly it will create this kind of mess in this time as it is lint.
The dryer vent should have 2 clamps, 1 on each end and if the place is old you probably have an adapter in your wall vent for the dryer. If these are old, broken, or loose then this leak will happen, but not to this scale.
If there are no clamps at all you are venting lint and CO2 into your house and thats a serious problem as that could kill you.
If you have no idea what i am talking about call a handy man or appliance repair company to come look asap.
I do handy work regularly and I only see that kind of “dust” near or around poorly installed dryers because its lint.

Clean your house.

Looks like you need some better furnace filters to help get rid of all the dust flying around in your home.
I had a similar looking PC when I was living in Saudi Arabia. Dust everywhere. At least your filter is doing its job
To start with, put your case anywhere except the floor.
I have 2 cats and a dog and it doesn’t get that dusty that fast – I’d check your drier outlet to make sure it’s clear and working properly. Do you burn candles or incense? It should be fairly easy to keep that room fairly dust free as it appears it doesn’t have carpeted floors.
Also check/change your HVAC filters – both on your air handler/furnace/pump/whatever you have and the intake filters inside the house.
Unless you live in a concrete factory, no.
you are breathing that air
The problem wouldn’t be the PC, it’d be the dusty place you put the PC in. Should be an easy fix, a vacuum or a broom would do the trick or perhaps move the PC higher from the ground.
Dude, clean your house!
Working well, clean yo damn house!
Mine hasn’t ever got this bad, even not cleaning the filter for over a month lol
I’m more worried about your lungs.
Is your pc at a laundromat?? That’s an insane amount of dust. This is like 3 years of dust for me
Even with a dog and my pc on the floor my pc would take years to look this bad lol, I have since moved my PC up on my table. Looks like you have a lot of dust circulating in that room, seeing as the top of the case is also covered in dust.
Clean your house room whatever, currently your pc sucking all that up.
clean yo house
You should clean your room
Now I’m worried about your lungs
maybe clean your apartment sometimes?
I have not even managed to accumulate that much in 2 years
Your PC is basically doing your doctor’s job right now and telling you to get an air purifier and/or clean your house.
This is not normal and not healthy at all.
I can assure u that the problem isn’t with ur pc
Ur house dirty
You got a dusty ass house dude
Clean your room! and buy an air filter with hepa filters.
Get a roomba-like robot
they are cheap now
I’m more worried about your lungs than the pc at that rate of dust accumulation
Mate you need to hoover more.
The problem is you don’t clean your house, which is where the dust was 9 days ago.
