Hello all, I hope this post finds you well. I’ve recently tinkered with my 13900k for my first time overclocking/undervolting (and first time building a PC!!) and was wondering why I am not able to get stable 5.5GHz for P-cores and 4.3GHz for E-cores that should be achievable on stock settings. Before I provide screenshots of my system under Cinebench, **let me list my BIOS settings under MSI**:

CPU Lite Load: Mode 3

LLC: Mode 2

P-Core, E-Core, and Ring Ratio: Auto

Enhanced Turbo: Disabled

CPU Current Limit (A): 340A

BCLK 100MHz Lock On: Enabled

Hyperthreading: Enabled

PL1=PL2: 288W

Long Duration Maintained: 128s

CPU Cooler Tuning: Tower Air Cooler (288W)

CPU Vcore Mode: Adaptive + Offset

CPU Vcore: 1.350

CPU Vcore Offset: -0.050

Please bear in mind that these settings are completely stable under Prime95, Cinebench, OCCT, and some gaming (Dead by Daylight)! **The following are some screenshots of the system during Cinebench taken on HWINFO**: [https://imgur.com/a/EkVwhqp](https://imgur.com/a/EkVwhqp)

As evident, the underclock is 300MHz generally across all the cores. Lastly, my system is running the following specs:

Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-A DDR5
CPU: i9-13900K
GPU: RTX 4070TI Ventus 3x OC
RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR5-6000
PSU: Corsair RM1000x
Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow
Cooling: Custom Water Loop with CPU Block, GPU Block, 2 360mm Corsair Radiators, 10 Corsair QL/LL Series Fans

If there is anything I’ve missed or made a mistake on, please let me know! I highly suspect that my motherboard is the reason I am unable to maintain stable stock core speeds, but I’m definitely looking for any suggestions/reasonings. Thanks!

  1. You’re clearly not limited by PL1/PL2 or thermal throttling at 100c, so my guess is possibly the current limit.

Expand the performance limit tab on HWInfo (you have it in your screnshot, but collapsed) and that will tell you exactly what the limit is.
