Alright who here’s honest enough to admit to this: the “I upgraded my PC to appreciate the game better” starter pack

I had my first ever gaming PC built in early 2021 in anticipation of Cyberpunk (a 3080 and i7 10700K).

In early 2023, I upgraded to a 4080 and i9 13900KF in anticipation of pathtracing and Frame Generation.

    No regrets.

She looks like a slightly tanner version of my ex and I hate it, lmao.

I had a female V and I loved Judy post romance, whereas pre romance I found her kind of annoying. Pre romance Panam seemed much more fun but with a female V I was outta luck.

Rivers fuckin sucked I stopped doing his quests cause he was so annoying

how are you guys so down bad for panam she’s just a conventionally attractive video game character

not to say that she isnt an *interesting and well written* character, but still

Not me, purchased a GeForce Now premium sub when they were super cheap still and played it through that.

First game I fired up on my 3080 when I upgraded was Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition because I literally couldn’t play it on my GTX 1060.

Haven’t done that yet. But if I do – won’t hide it, all for Panam and her ass

the 2% of people who play the game for the gameplay and not porn

I actually built my PC in anticipation of the Cyberpunk launch. I had this gut feeling that it wouldn’t run on my aging PS4. Turned out to be right

Ha! Jokes on you! I upgraded my PC to play Cyberpunk before I even knew who Panam is.

    But I love her now.

I personally am not a fan of Panam, my heart belongs to the one and only…

The hardest heartbreak of the game was Brendan! He and I were more than chooms..at least I thought.

    Anyone flick me Theo’s deets?

    I’ll throw ya some eddies!

Honestly, mods. It’s the single biggest reason I would sell my consoles and move over to PC full-time. And not even sexy mods, I just want cyberware to be visible, and to be able to access weapons I might have otherwise missed (like killing Dum-Dum and picking up Doom-Doom).

Bruh, I upgraded my PC just to run the game at playable frame rates. Being able to appreciate the effort the devs put into the graphics is just a really nice perk.

I bought a pc because my PlayStation Pro didn’t run the game the greatest at times and I really liked what the modding community was putting out at the time. The first game I bought was cyberpunk and while I didn’t install many mods at first until I got the hang of manual installs, I do have the panam enhanced body and relationship mods. Plus the lore friendly text message overhaul mods really add some depth to the characters even ones like Saul and some other aldecados. But yes I am a total simp for Panam. I’d drop everything on a dime the second she calls 😂

  15. This strikes me as an odd post. I’m not a PC gamer, but I would think anyone who plays on PC would always be aiming to upgrade regardless of the game.

  16. Honestly, the ass geometry is about the same on all platforms.

Big differences are seen, however in the lighting/shadow quality around vending machines in the systems that can handle ray-tracing.

Would if I could until then my 3050 will continue to scream

I would upgrade my PC again just for Panam. I’ve literally replayed the game around 10 times the exact same way to get her ending.
