Favourite weapon farm

I’m adding my mini-guide here as it’s knowledge I wish I had to start with. I know allot of people (myself included) who didn’t own the previous title mw2, and this can put them at a large disadvantage when it comes to unlocking the older games guns (some of which are very powerful such as the crossbow or PDSW 528). Even as far as the games new guns, some don’t want to use their armoury unlocks on guns, and I don’t blame them. So this is my favourite location for weapon unlocks, or even finding low risk gear like 3 plate vests or self res.

Guns are easiest to find in lockers, and this area to my knowledge has the highest density (atleast in tier 1). I have found a crossbow and a few riot shields in these. As in the image, each blue X signifies a group of 3 weapon lockers, and each will always spawn a weapon, and often it will be multiple. I’d guestimate that most runs you will see about 20 weapons.

Generic gear can be found in duffle bags, including 3 plate vests, rucksacks, self revives, aether tools, ammo mods and perk cans. This is far more down to luck, but if you have no gear then they are very worthwhile to check as you go through. The yellow X signifies a duffle, and all duffles in their own small bunk building (at a guess, about 90%) have a chance to spawn an additional crate (the small good ones, or the larger reward type crates) in the building. The spots marked aren’t ALL of the duffles, but they are (to my mind) the easiest to fit into the route.

The area of the map (from what I can tell) has 2 possible Merc camps which can spawn, and each building with 3 lockers has a chance of being an aether nest. There are also wall buys, ammo caches, vehicle spawns and contracts scattered throughout incase they can tempt you, but the area isn’t outstanding at any of them. As you can see, all of this forms somewhat of a farming route in a safe area with nearby exfill points.
