Almost certainly. I don’t think I’ve ever had a false positive with Malwarebytes.
IMTHEKINGOFTHEWORL
yes, also malwarebytes is malware itself.
Honestly, any 3rd party AV is a PUP/downright malware to me, honestly. The only AV i use is windows defender + a bit of common sense
I_suck_cock_for_free
Unless it’s not Cheat Engine or some mod extensions and DLLs that need to be injected into games, they are most certainly real threats.
K1W1-Elite
TOR_DOWNLOADER.EXE yep, I most definitely would not run that shit.

The full detection names and file paths would help.
Looks like a shady browser extension. It might come back if not properly removed. I would look there first and remove any extension that looks suspicious. Ultimately, uninstall and reinstall the browser.
A clean windows reinstall seems unnecessary.

Whatever you’re downloading, stop it
Sololane_Sloth

golddilockk
in my experience, malwarebytes almost always knows what’s it doing. there are exception though, like mods and script-hooks for games.
Zeartic
Reset and change everything
Morrowind12
Yes but maybe having some common sense will let you have no viruses op.
jmancoder
Yes. FWIW, Malwarebytes also has a free extension for your browser that should stop most threats before you download them.
decoste94
What tf are you downloading
aruiwei
Yes.
Also stop doing whatever you’re doing.
Always remember the least secure part of any computer is the user.
Yes some of those could be just small trackers i just started using the Malwarebytes browser add on and it cuts that shit way down (i use pirating sites)
Mashur303
Someone’s been pirating games?
BrowniieBear
Yeah man. You may want to re assess what you’re downloading. Once you’re virus free, I’d recommend backing up any personal stuff just in case you do continue downloading untrustworthy content
Purepenny
All of those are spyware from some type of installer you downloaded. Mawarebyte will delete the individual files that deem at fault. Remove those files. Restart pc and run it again. If it’s keep showing up after scan you going to have to follow the file path and manually remove them.
LongTallMatt
You may want to opt for a full version for live scanning. You’re doing something wrong.

Don’t worry OP, the 7 things on screen with ‘MALWARE’ spelled on top of them are nothing to make a fuss about.
You totally don’t need to completely wipe windows and immediately change all of your passwords, nah.

The real link to Tor Browser is [https://www.torproject.org/download/](https://www.torproject.org/download/). Don’t trust anything else.
I’m glad to know Malwarebytes is still the go to, it’s never failed me and it’s free.
Is malwarebytes free? I immediately deleted Norton when I bought my laptop and I trust windows defender but idk how much it really will catch
You wouldn’t download a car would you?
What the fuck are you doing with your pc dude
Just download more ram
I don’t want to be too mean but you should probably go back to an Xbox and not use a PC.
