Do you enjoy Samurai’s music? I crazy about Samurai’s music, it’s so powerful and conveys the whole atmosphere of the game.

I love rock and metal, and honestly I wasn’t a big fan of them for a long while.

Now I find myself sticking to Morro Rock and get giddy every time I hear “C-C-C-CAN YOU FEEEEEEL IIIIIIIT!”

Not really. I’ve listened to a lot of rock and metal and Samurai is the most generic, soulless, uninteresting rock music I’ve ever heard. I truly wish their music were better for how iconic they’re supposed to be in-game.

Not really, it’s cool in game cause it adds to the atmosphere, but actually listening to it outside of the game it sounds like it lacks flavor and substance. It’s not bad by any means but imo they don’t sound good enough to match how famous they supposedly are in game.

  4. I find a lot of the other tracks in the game to be a lot more interesting as well as the original score. The Tomb Mold song, Pain, Resist and Disorder, I Really Want to Stay at Your House, etc..

That said, I listen to a lot of aggrotech, goth rock, synthwave, darkwave, industrial, etc.. and found myself a bit disappointed with the radio overall as I feel like those are the genres I most closely associate with “cyberpunk.”

The Ballad of Buck Ravers is an almost daily listen 🤘

For as much as I love The Shape of Punk to Come, Refused absolutely did not bring their A-game to Samurai. I don’t know if they just half assed the riffs because they didn’t know what to do with the lyrics they were given or what but most of it is not near as wild as it could have been.

I love the band but I have a really hard time imagining Johnny doing the vocals. It just doesn’t really sound like his voice that much to me.
