I’m very excited as I know this has the ability to become my favorite game ever. For now I just bought the base game for the Xbox series x because it was 40% off. After a couple hours if I love it which I’m sure I will I’ll most likely purchase the PL expansion as well as I know it begins mid base game. I’m not sure what sort of build I want. They all look so much fun but the stealth netrunner and hacking people up with a katana has probably intrigued me the most… I’m trying to not watch too many guides but also don’t want to go into it completely blind. Anyone have any beginner tips?
I’ll keep updating this post to share my thoughts on the game for anyone else still on the fence with buying it.. Which I was for weeks!

Game finale is closer that you think
Still on main menu and first things I’ve done: increase sensitivity, turn off film grain, chromatic aberration depth of field, lens flare and motion blur. I selected very hard difficulty.

Dont miss Kerry’s questline at the end. There’s a bug where he doesn’t call you after the 2nd quest you do for him unfortunately.

Enjoy. I recently purchased it about 2 months. I understand the original launch was pretty plagued, but dare I say after they fixed the game it might be one of the best games ever.
dont waste your attribute reset. after 2.0 you only get one so wait until way later like lvl 50 or after no joke.

Nice, this is the best game that Iāve ever played personally. Also I think itās best to play it with the DLC in the middle after you get āthe callā. So if you havenāt already bought PL you should strongly consider it.

My best advice is, skip fast travel if you wanna feel more like a part of this incredible city. I never use it. Every motorcycle in game also handles like you’re in Akira. I fucking love it
I bought it a few weeks ago and I have about 100 hours into it. Definitely one of the best games Iāve ever played! Enjoy!

Pace yourself and I’m kinda jealous. I finished it a few weeks ago and wish i could relive the experience for the first time again.
If you buy the expansion separately, you really should start a new game. I’d recommend you stop what you’re doing now, buy the expansion, then start a new game with it installed.
Literally just spun up my 5th playthrough š¤£ Stopped for a couple months but been missing it! You will 100% end up buying PL, one of the best expansions ever.
Immerse yourself in Night City, walk the streets, take it all in and be the baddest merc this side of Pacifica.
Most importantly, have fun!

Phantom Liberty expansion is amazing. You need to get it.
major tip I have is to manually save relatively often, don’t gotta overdo it but if you ever want to go back and replay something differently then you’ll be glad you did
