This is how I handle the Abomination Bounties

As a solo player, this by far is my favorite strat when I get Mega Abominations for my bounty. Yeah.. I could get it done on the ground or use turrets, but this is just the way I like to do it. It’s less risky.
Find a roof near by and go to work. You can manage all the zombies, no real issues getting attacked from behind, or trapped, and maintain ammo and plates.
Some rooftops you have to be careful about checking your back, so just be aware of that.

As far as Mimics, Manglers, and Disciples, I just fight them on the ground since they’re a lot quicker to take down.
