I honestly think the 1080ti may have been the best GPU ever made

1070 still going strong! Upgraded from a 4670k to a 12400 and it’s like a brand new card now.

Man GPUs were looking so much cooler Back then…
Now they all have those 2€ goo goo gaga trash ass fans on top of a 1200€ GPU’s heatsink
Like seriously, you want me to pay above a grand for a high tier GPU, but you mount the literal shittiest chinese bing chilling fans made by some chinese kid without hope or future on top??
The fans of a friends 3080ti broke within 2 years of using, meanwhile the 10′ series fans that are running solid for a decade 💀

I’m replacing my 1080 with a 4070ti and I feel guilty because it’s been so good for so long
stoopid_dumbazz
I feel like the GeForce 10xx and 16xx series are some of the most reliable GPUs ever made. Bonus shout out to the 8800 GTX.

My 1060 was a great card, not enough to do everything I wanted to though but for a $600 prebuilt PC it was good. 2080 been going strong for 3 years now

I bought a 1080SC in 2016, still works perfectly. I’ve NEVER had a video card last even half this long before.

I only replaced my 1080 this past March, and only because I had the money and wanted a whole new rig (I build a fresh rig every 5 years or so and I built that in late 2018) with high end modern hardware.

I’m still using my 1070 on my new i13900 rig.

Mine’s still trucking even after the month in 2017 I used it to mine Nicehash.

If not for a used 3060 12GB for $180 recently (with 2 years official warranty) I would still using my 1660 Ti
