My first ever PC after gaming on console my whole life. Took me about 4 hours to complete, powered on first try but display wasn’t working so I re-sat my GPU and reconnected all power cables. Running like a dream now and couldn’t be happier!
Congratulations on your first build. Looks very good for first time. Corsair fan in the making. lol.

4080 and a 14900k as a first build? Sheesh! My first build was 12 year old me trying to make scrap parts work from old desktops my family and neighbors were trying to throw out lol.
Fantastic build! Enjoy it!

What kind of FPS do you get in Starfield?

Doing a similar build this Christmas but with a 3080. Congrats on joining the PCMR!
And I bet I know why you got just one extra AF120, that rear exhaust spot looks weird without a fan imo and is why I did it lol. I am using the same case and H150i.
EDIT: Okay I’m kinda dumb and didn’t realize there were multiple photos. By the way, how did you end up wiring up that last fan? Since the commander that comes with the AIO only has 6 ports. I am wondering how I’m going to wire mine while still being able to control everything thru iCue.

Congrats my brother it looks great and welcome to the master race!

My only comment would be for your cpu could have gotten better price to performance with an AMD 7800x3d for gaming at least. However, if you’re doing productivity tasks then the Intel is right way to go. Either way though really the performance difference in gaming isn’t that much and if you have the money to spend then might as well gone all out. You’ll be happy with your build for a long long time. I got a 7900xtx and now wish I would have gone for a 4080 instead as I’ve come to like the visual difference in ray tracing.

I just love seeing all these boxes with new hardware.
Enjoy 🤙

Not too late to return the i9-14900k and get the [13900k](https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/intel-core-i9-14900k-vs-13900k/) instead
Umm where is your Storage Device? I don’t see an NVME in the picture.
That will arguably last you for 5 years top.
Awesome
That back pain after building your pc tho
Healing our inner child. Looks good op 👌
Awesome! Hope everything went and goes smoothly
I did’n like the AF fans. Too noisy
I build an exact replica , almost ( amd over intel & asus instead pny)
Nice. What RAM you go with?
A 4090 would’ve been the cherry on top but that’s a killer setup either way 🍻
That 850w PSU is probably barely enough. If it is enough at all. And it *definitely* won’t be if you try to overclock anything
Clean build! How many frames you getting in Atlantis with the 4080?
