I am a sucker for that style of case. I have a Inspiron 530s that I modernized with new components. Sadly your E510 is BTX, so you can’t really reuse the case, like I did with the 530s, which is ATX.
Would make a decent HTPC.

Careful, a obsolete 486 PC was my gateway drug into PCMR back in 2000!
If you get it working again, roll back to XP and get a All in Wonder Radeon with DVI, then you’ll have a godly retro gaming PC that will work with modern HDMI displays allowing you to even play retro consoles and all the classic PC games!

Well, it’s ’big brother’ in a way. E520. Core 2 duo, I think it came with 2GB RAM and a 160GB drive. Wonderful machine for windows 7 because that’s what it came with. Though it runs hot a bit warm and I do agree the cooling system is most of the case. Bad ass intake though. Good luck!
Lemme guess: hyperthreaded Pentium 4 or Pentium D with 2GB of RAM?
If it’s the latter, count your blessings that Dell used a lot of space for cooling. These need it.
