there was a tarot graffiti ,and saw drones guarding the solar panels, but haven’t explored there too much yet.

There is one mission if you continue johnnys quest
Meraziel
There’s a bunch of NCPD scanners and some Dakota’s gigs in the South. Only one gig in the entire Biotechnica farm iirc.
RectumCleansing
Some specific clothing items
Evelynn_cretoxyrhina
in the biotechnia part is the village with the hidden quest ig? other than that a mission for nancy and some scanners
AntiochRoad
If you go along one of the lower roads through bio Technica there’s a legendary drop and cool reference to Mad Max Fury Road and Mothers as part of another team doing a Dakota mission. Small but worth searching out
Vision_dynamic
Biotechnica has the Techie Goggles if you want them and that whole set.
MechanicalDaemon
If you want to go down the rabbit hole, there’s a house in the Biotechnica Flats with a bunch of servers (near the Food Vendor) where you can start on a Easter egg hunt tied to the FF:06:B5 mystery
Magger
In the solar panel part there’s an interactive arcade game which is basically a Wolfenstein ripoff with Johnny Silverhand as the main character. I think it’s called something like “Raid on Arasaka Tower”
The bottom is the little town used for the Nomad intro. Haven’t tried in 2.0 yet, but fun fact you used to be able to glitch out of the map and into that town and if you did there was a single NPC you could shoot for a wanted level which would spawn Aldecaldos instead of Police

The large straight at south is just vehicle speed testing.

If you get a mod you can go past the border crossing (far south) which you cross as nomad. Then you can explore the empty town etc which i found intresting because i always play streetkid.
Drewdiniskirino
Dunno if anyone’s mentioned this, but down south past the Biotechnica Flats, you’ll arrive at the border crossing. If you try to pass through on-foot or in a car, they’ll basically insta-kill you.
But, if you take one of the jump-enhancing leg mods and follow the wall east a little ways, you can actually jump up onto the wall, run along the top, and climb over the border crossing. Do this, and you can summon your vehicle outside NC and drive around the Nomad prologue area.
Interesting locations include the town of Yucca and the little farm where Nomad!V met Jackie, but if you travel out too far, the map will start to break down pretty severely
Royal_Spell1223
“TSOI IS ALIVE” graffiti on Russian.

There’s a couple gigs in the bottom areas but nothing crazy special. The bio farms down there are largely unutilized space. There’s some unique Eyewear down there and a couple gigs but that’s about it as far as I know.

Scanners, gigs and hidden gems – hidden gems are basically dead bodies you can loot and find some ok gear and shards with lore/Easter eggs
got-trunks
Oh yeah, one of those rings hides the secret Rita romance quest line. You save her cat from a tree.
The_TrashiestPanda
Fair bit of NCPD scanners, some legendary loot and some side quests in late game. But the sight seeing and top speeds are where it’s at 👌🏻
Ooomeh
I always wondered about those oil fields. Did they plan to do anything there? It had solid vibes.
Personmchumanface
easy to loose ncpd in the solar panels
Jingster
South area has some NCPD scanners and a few gigs. The north part has one mission that takes you there, but mostly no real activities. The farm section has a gig that takes you there and also I believe its the Nomad starting area and the east circle has a story mission, but yeah nothing much about those areas. Might make sense as most people don’t really wander out there.
microwavefridge2000
I would return to nomad start area only to run over the sheriff.
