Nzxt has awful customer service. Hope you don’t need it bcs they don’t do shit for you.
With prebuilts / SI’s it’s not about the normal parts they use it’s about the ones they cheap out on, shipping, and assembly.
So in your case. You used all premium parts. That’s great most ppl get generic PSU’s and AIO’s and most times memory. This is where the SI’s save money.
The real nail in the coffin is the build time / quality. I have built thousands of computers and I can tell you when doing bulk builds of like 10+ machines that are all the same. One of them will have some random ass bug that only shows up when I stress test them or just something weird. Also SI employees are not given the time to truly get things right 100%, they have quota’s and shit like that. So a SI will never take the same amount of time a individual builder would or even yourself. They are just nocking them out to fast.
I am a honest tech and when someone comes to me with a SI build that’s cheaper than what I can build it for I tell them to buy it and bring it to me to look over it before they plug it in. So many times I spot just random ass stuff. Like using metal twist ties for cable management touching the mother board.
Shipping is hard on a PC. UPS says the package has to be able to survive a 20 foot drop with 100lbs falling on it. That is insane. I ship nationwide and the amount of care you really have to put into shipping just sucks and even then no guarantee. Using expanding foam packs help but only so much. It’s gotten way better over the years but unless it’s shipped on a pallet it’s going to have been subjected to serious abuse.
I 100% believe every person who buys a prebuilt online inspect it before plugging it in or having another tech inspect it if they don’t know what they are looking for. If you spent over $3,000 throwing 50-100 for a 2nd tech to just verify is worth it imo.
I had a similar build recently from NZXT. Had to send it back the day I received it because the AIO you have selected wasn’t compatible with my motherboard. What was awesome was the lead tech stayed in contact with me and let me know what they found. They upgraded it to the Kraken Elite with no extra charge and the PC is a beast.
I’m the biggest NZXT hater there’s ever been.
That’s a fantastic deal for that part list. One could say the parts themselves are overpriced or a bad choice, but if you want this stuff, then it’s super good.
Kind of weird the NZXT B650 isn’t the choice for board though.
I see a build with $400+ X670E board and nothing that requires that kind of board. Sad waste of money.
Please do not buy a pre-built from them. I bought a 3070ti build 2 yrs ago paid 3500 and was an absolute rip off, I ended up building my own pc and selling the parts I had from the nzxt pre build please don’t buy unless you truly have no clue in how to build a pc or just want to straight up plug n play.
Honestly I think this build would have been more expensive if you built it yourself, this is actually a really good deal.
Check if they installed new firmware for the ssd so it doesn’t die, and it would have been nice to see cl30 ram for this price. Also 360mm AIO is unnecessary.

While you are at it, just bump your budget to 4k and get the Aero 4090 to finish that white look. It still uses the wind force cooling architecture from gigabyte.

I just got a prebuilt from Aftershock here in Australia if I was to build it myself it was going to be like $7500 but if I got it as a pre-build it was $6199

That state tax is criminal.
Used NZXT before when I wasn’t up for building my own and it was the pandemic. So they were actually cheaper than building my own with inflated GPU prices. They are very transparent about pricing and their build fee is just a bit over $100.
You are winning big here because they are charging to MSRP for the 4090, not the current inflated price.
Only problem over the years the AIO has developed some air bubbles that leads whine when the pump first kicks into gear.
