If you are really unlucky the power button was on those pins, if not you maybe Lost audio motherboard beeps but it will still work
Tikkinger
You got another F_USB port ?
Mad_Arson
Well you can live without usb 3.0 header or you can give mobo to repair store and they can solder in new connector.

I’ve straightened pins like those with a small pair of needle nose pliers. If there is a plastic socket that slides over them, it may go back on if you do a good job straightening the pins. Mine came off one time when I disconnected the USB 3.0 header cable and I was able to put it back on very carefully.
Otherwise, unless you’re desperate for more USB 3.0 connections, it’s no big deal. I wasn’t able to use mine at all for a while because my GPU bracket was in the way, but I still had plenty of ports on the back of the computer.
Crafty_Chocolate_532
I think you pinned yourself into a corner here. No screwing around anymore.

Just get a pcie card for your Front USB panel

My first instinct was to look at the pinout and see if you could salvage partial functionality but seems both Vbus pins are broken, so anything you connect won’t get the power it needs to work: [https://i.stack.imgur.com/ZW79w.jpg](https://i.stack.imgur.com/ZW79w.jpg)
Those are small pins soldered to small pads surrounded by small surface mounted components… personally i wouldn’t risk breaking something else just for a pair of front USBs. I would learn my lesson and find an alternative.
You have other options, depending on how much you want to tinker:
– Forget about front USB and give the tower the old reacharround with your devices
– Buy a cheap usb 3 hub, plug it in the back and locate it on your desk or on top of the tower
Replace the missing pins and shove the plastic thing there again, then use some instant glue to hold it in place, or just replace the missing pins and connect that way, probably gonna fall off but should work
Fresh_Shell4543
You could try resoldering pins to it, but if it was me I’d send it to a repair shop and see if they can fix it
bamseogbalade
Not at all. Only front header. Live without front usb. This way you also keep your build clean 😎
JohnJohn159
Honestly I believe you could get a 3.1 to 3.0 adapter unless You’re using that port or PCIE to USB 3.0 header would work like someone else suggested.
Ancient-Sweet9863
There are pcie cards they give you usb mobo headers.
Geraltofbirmingham
Best advice is to wank one off and see how you feel after. If it still bothers you then yea send it to a repair shop or RMA it. If not, enjoy your new pc!
OkPaper3185
You’re fine. The pins, however…
thankfulofPrometheus
Assuming you have an extra pci slot, get a pci to USB 3.+ whatever and move on with the rest of your day….no need to stress.
Teftell
Repairable, does not break main mobo functionality
Trashrascall
Mount your pc up on the wall and then it’ll become so annoying and inconvenient to access the front panel that you won’t care it’s gone.
I have no knowledge of how this specific model performs, take my link more as a general example of type of product.
AtlasWriggled
These ports are such a design flaw. Been fucking around with mine for half an hour last PC build.
BertMacklenF8I
Yes. I never connect my front I/O.
KeonXDS
One of the worse connector to exist
jommastafibb
If you have an available pcie 1x slot you can just get an add in card with a front header on it and then problem solved. Not a huge deal.
Raido95
Depends, do you need the usb 3 header? If yes, how good are you at soldering?
FaithlessnessOld7089
Through-hole components are an easy DIY fix – you need solder, a soldering iron and solder wick. And of course replacement pins. Even if you aren’t prepared to DIY, any competent repair technician could do it for you, even if they fix VCRs.
Tukiko0
If the cable and ‘plug’ are still attached, just be careful and line it up. It’s already broken, can’t get worse.
I’ve done this too many times.
Kemalist_din_adami
Why has everyone started ripping ports on their MBs this week?
xxGhostScythexx
Sorry I got a little hungry
Suspicious-Dog-9595
Most pc components are very solid but how come after all these years we still get this shitty usb 3.0 that easily can break you’d think by now someone would come up with something better that works
Wheetec
I’ve never seen someone actually use it. Dw you’re gonna be ok.
There is still possibility to take it to a repair shop if it’s something more important or if it really bothers you.
motoxim
What happened?
Trex0Pol
If you have a soldering iron and know how to use it, you can fix it in a few minutes for basically free.
Nurple-shirt
This isn’t a proper fix you you can push the broken pins halfway inside the connector then plug it in.

Good luck!
TL;DR: not that bad, there are alternatives

Not a critical part. Pc will still function
Its got broken pins 3 of them so probably not useable the 3.0 I mean
Proper screwed
