wouldn’t you also need mouse buttons since if you are gonna use this on a non-thinkpad laptop/pc you’ll only be able to move the mouse but not click anything unless you use a separate mouse.

Am I the only one who thinks they are better than touchpads? All my friends prefer touchpads and even when using a laptop that has both they still use the touchpad and only I use their trackpoints when needed

I feel like the main advantage of a trackpoint is that your hands never leave the keyboard. So a USB trackpoint kind of defeats the purpose, imho. Pretty cool to see though.
