After years of using a gaming laptop I finally got a proper computer. Now I can finally play half life at a smooth 30fps!

  1. I can’t tell if you’re joking or not but my PC from 25 years ago ran half-life at a smooth 100+fps… What kind of *gaming* laptop did you have that couldn’t run it at 30fps…?

  2. Considering it’s a cyberpower and the fans are probably backwards, yeah 30fps sounds about right

Congrats! Although someone’s acting a little high and mighty here, anything past 24fps is CLEARLY wasting resources.

half life at a smooth 30 fps?! wth did you have as a “gaming” laptop?

    30fps sounds a bit unrealistic. do u have 2 4090s?

The real question is did you get half-life for free until the 20th, or did you pay for it in the old days?

Think you forgot to add the “Meme” flair to this post.

    I don’t get the joke.

Voodoo 2 could run Half Life at more than 30 fps back when it launched. It’s just a Quake 2 engine game.

Any computer that has more power than a Pentium 200 MMX and Voodoo Graphics card can do it, meaning pretty much every system sold after 2001.

This right here, is what a true gamer does, not Softspoken, lame AAA unifnished games bullshit. (Jk)
