I scanned him and saw his wrap sheet. Dude is a fucking monster (as if that wasn’t obvious already).
I never side with Maelstrom, Meredith might be a pragmatic, ruthless corpo, but she’s obviously the lesser of two evils.
Plus, V says “bang” when you dome him, which I think is a Cowboy Bebop reference
Honestly Royce alive is the best option for Maelstron. If you agree to play the gig with Samurai and search for Nancy, you’ll see that without Royce, Maelstron is just a violent gang. With him, it’s a violent gang AND a cultural movement in on itself.
Guess they went those lengths to make sure you understand that killing bandits is not the solution for any problem in Night City; it just makes the world more empty for everyone else in their community
