I get 450 mb/s for $55 and it’s honestly amazing. Obviously faster would be better, but in my area the price doubles for gig speed. I just went from 10-45 all throughout college, so this internet is like lightning lol

Depends on the cost and if the ISP can actually deliver it; Looks like you’re in Canada, and apparently over in Canada they actually force ISPs to provide the speeds they advertise. Here in the US, it a literal coin toss of whether the price will be obscene for even the most basic of Internet service, and the speed of that service is a constantly moving goalpost that never comes close to reaching what’s advertised.

also depends on how many use the connection to some extent. if you have several devices using one connection the bandwidth is going to be shared anyway.

Meanwhile im on 10mbps. But next week will get connected 600mb fiber, for same monthly price. Like 30$ for mobile, stationary phone, tv (tho now thru fiber not satellite) and internet.
