They should have allocated this team to cyberpunk. Witcher is great and all, but its how old? Let the modders play with something more recent.

It gives CDPR good faith and good PR and also keeps both games alive for the future if they give now all the tools to modders. Look at games like Skyrim or new Vegas, those games are still kicking strong both because they’re damn good games and because the modding community has done wonders with them.

I dunno. I never wanted to mod Knights of the Old Republic. This is more sandbox adventure than rpg so maybe but eh.. rather more dlc.

Unlikely for the next one or two years imo. They are developing Orion and depending on how long that is, if it releases in the next two years they’ll save that mod editor till after that game releases

Witcher 3 didn’t even get RedKit, so this is even more welcome there

The Witcher 3 being based on the same engine, safe to say this will indeed come to CP sooner or later. I would say sooner than later with how fast official mod support with redmod came for the game and how modders got hired to work on the game
