I think a plant or two could add some good color but if you like monochrome then it’s looking sleek. Agree with the other guys about a mousepad/desk mat. Can I ask for the background?

No, it’s minimal. I love it. I have a similar one. I would recommend a mousepad though, to not scratch the wood.
