As the title says, I would like to know a bit about everyones first gaming (or not so much) PCs.
What was the machine that kept on giving and helped you game in the past?
Mine was a pre-built my dad decided to buy me when I was 12. It lasted from 2014 to 2020.
I played Minecraft, Fallout NV and Skyrim on it.
Here are the info I could get from my sweet little “beast”.
It brings back lots of memories and I just wanted to share with you all the PC that made me a PC Master Race.

1st PC? I’m still using a 4th gen i7 4790 🙁 ha.
A Packard Bell from 1999. It was so slow. I tried playing The Sims on it and couldn’t do it, it ran horribly.
Mine was a laptop and it was a dell latitude d630 with windows 7 that was the first one that i actually owned and was not one my parents were just letting me use. i still have it actually.
286 CPU 4MB Ram 540MB HDD if I remember correctly. Ran DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11
I don’t know what specs it had since at that time I wasn’t familiar with hardware at all because of my small age. The earliest I remember that I owned is an AMD Athlon 5000+ 2.6 GHz, two gigs of DDR2 memory and an iGPU from NVIDIA, GeForce 6150.

Sick gaming machine with blue light in the front, you could turn on and off.
Specs, from what i remember:
Intel Pentium 4 516 – 2.93 ghz, and no hyperthreading
512mb of DDR RAM, probably 400mhz
160GB SATA drive
ATI Radeon X1300 graphics card
Some small 250~350w power supply.
It sucked ass, but it was the first PC i bought, and i loved it.
A Compaq notebook with a pentium 133mmx and a cirrus logic GPU. 32mb of ram and windows 95.
The thing still works btw (with win98). Can’t remember screen resolution, but it had a touchpad (totally useless) that you could swap for a trackball.
Wow let’s see…I’m certain it was an e-machine ET1831 desktop, good times.
My first pc was a hand me down from my uncle, it was a core 2 duo machine with no graphics, have upgraded to a i3 9th gen
Suddenly Im Old. It was before the existence of DDR ram.
Family computer wise when I was a kid, some windows 98 or ME pc, played A LOT of Roller coaster tycoon on that thing, personal gaming pc wise, an XPS 420 with a q6600 I picked up from a solid waste warehouse back in 2017, slapped a 2gb 1050 in it and I was off to the races

Tandy 1000 from Radio Shack.
Intel 8088 CPU if I recall and a 5.25″ floppy drive.
Came with DOS 2.11

Im not sure of the exact specs but it was a really shitty HP All in One, i think from the “Omni” series as those look pretty similar. It barly ran minecraft at the end of its life time due to the amount of viruses and junk ive installed as a young guy. It got so bad it didnt allow me to enter the Window settings to factory reset it.
6500 1050 Ti I feel young 💀💀
My 1st PC was custom built, it had Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.73GHz, GeForce 7800GTX and 2GB DDR2 RAM(later upgraded to 4gigs). This CPU was excellent overclocker, I pulled out 4.2GHz on stock cooling without changing voltages. It served me for 8 years (2005-2013)
When anything i5 was your first……. Celeron 300a here.
My first PC was in 1996. It was that green Acer Aspire. 90Mhz with 4MB of RAM. I upgraded it myself to 8MB of RAM. I remember being super nervous when doing it.

i3 4th gen 8GB RAM 128GB was my first PC, I am greatful im not left with that piece of junk

A Dell dimension 2400 from 2003 with a Pentium 4 with 512 MB of ram, in 2012 it could play Minecraft at 15 fps at lowest settings and hitched all the time yet it could play wreckfest demo 60 fps go figure.
