So long soldiers 🫡 doesn’t look like I’ll be able to compete on keyboard and mouse anymore.

Get yourself a prosthesis with RGB lighting.

  2. never say never. maybe a 3d printed finger may push even harder on the keys 🙂

Get a gaming mouse with extra buttons and then use AutoHotKey to bind things to them, or master the numpad with your right hand.

    Sorry for your loss. 😶‍🌫️

You can still do this. ring finger for A like usual, middle finger for W and S as usual, then use your thumb for D and then use your palm for jumping with space bar.

  5. By the looks of it, you still have the first phalanx of the finger. Are you still able to move it? If so, you might be able to get some kind of prothesis and apply just enough preasure to press the D key.

Time to swap hands and use the middle/ring finger on a mouse

You have enough of it left for a prosthetic!

There are even 3D printable patterns for them available, though I’d recommend having someone who knows what they’re doing take your measurements and design/fabricate it for you to avoid harming yourself with one that’s poorly fitted. You could even put LEDs and stuff on it if you wanted, whatever color or pattern – I’ve always thought that if I lose a limb (I thought about this a lot because for a long time it looked like I was going to lose my left leg) I’d want to get a prosthetic like one I saw where it was designed to look like that blue willow painted porcelain you see used for antique dishes and such.

Hey man, you’re not alone in this, playing with controller is still a blast. Hope you can still have fun, and you might be surprised with how much you can still do with a keyboard. If having a hand like this has taught me something, adapting is the most useful skill someone can have and shows how much trying again and again can have on your life. Have a great day man.

Recently lost my index and long finger homie. I uses a mouse with extra buttons and rebind keys to use with my thumb. Controller just need to use other fingers.

Well you can still wasd and press space. Just figure out how to sprint and you’ll adapt, we belive in you

I recommend some heavy keyboard rebinding and potentially adding more mouse buttons.

I knew a guy whose left arm was missing below the elbow (genetic). He played PC using the stump for WASD and had a shit ton of buttons and thumb keys on his mouse. You can make it work, we believe in you

  13. DOODEwheresMYdick

I’d 3D print a finger extension before I dare join the controller gang

Pinky on A, ring finger on W, middle on D and more wrist action than a alone dark weekend
