from my experience with desktop and workstations with multi-monitor .
found that
– bigger main screen is the best (Philips Philips BDM4350UC 43″ 4k)
also its about PPI , at the size of 43″ is the sweet spot for the 4k . less than 43 you need scaling and more than 43 it will get blurry especially around text , which is the most important thing for me as working with code .
– also mounting the screens to the walls de-clutter the desk in an amazing way and make the cleaning so easy .
– cable management all the way . 1-2 days of work with the right tools . and you are done for years .
right now what I am thinking about for my next workstation .
option1 : three 43″ 4K . but I am worried that the edges will be hard to reach
option2 : one 43″ 4k and two vertical 27″ 2k . ( mostly will go with this )
option3 : curved screens 5 or 3 , 30″ in vertical ( not sure about that)
vertical area is really important seeing the full code document without the need to scroll , so the extra wild screen are no go for me .
