Im absolutely blown away by the image quality of the Neo G7. Found it on sale and the FALD is working insanely good. Minimal blooming, very hard to spot unless youre looking very hard.

I feel like a lot of comparison videos/images doesnt do the G7 any justice because people are not capturing the image correctly so the exposure makes it look like insane blooming when in reality it really doesnt look anything. Im no photograph by any means but I think it has to do with bad auto exposure, which makes it look like blooming when in reality the screen just got brighter than before and the camera just couldnt cant capture it.

This is shot with my phone for reference and is much closer to what it looks like in reality.

The difference is huge from my old monitor, and keep in mind that its also a VA panel with very decent contrast ratio.

This is the closest I could get to OLED. I really wanted 4k oled but they dont release until next year and I would probably have to pay at least double than what I paid for the Neo g7.

  1. Edit: this was shot in 4k HDR on my phone, now that its uploaded I can see the reddit compression (which I totally forgot about).

I love how the old one looks like an IPS next to the Neo. Impressive stuff

This should be obvious but just in case: if you’re not watching this video on a screen that is as good as the screen being showcased, you’re not seeing what OP is trying to show
