Keep in mind when considering whether to get MW3 that it may have the least content of a new COD game in quite awhile (maybe except Vanguard). Bloomberg estimates that MW3’s dev time was **half** that of a typical COD game.

With one outbreak style map/mode, I am highly skeptical this game will be good after a month or two of playing. My assumption is we get two or three maps over the course of them next year.

I am not telling anyone what to do, but I would wait for this to go on sale unless you plan to play a lot of MP/campaign as well.

I am NOT defending them, at all, but…

I do think that we are going to see a lot more variety in Zombies this time around to cover for the lack of real content. For example – Zombies on WZ maps and on MW3 MP maps. New game modes from other games. Etc. Lots of recycled assets, yes, but more variety in that.

Is that a good thing? Not really. But I also don’t think they want Zombies to shit the bed completely and will do their best to make “lazy zombies” still work.

I’ve only played one game of MWZ, but based off that, to me, the game mode seems to be lacking “soul” that the maps in games before Cold War had.

Also seems a little too easy – easy to survive against the zombies with lots of room to run around or windows/rails/etc. to climb over.

a year and a half for remastered mp maps and the laziest campaign they’ve ever made
