I am planning on buying a new gaming PC. I have been a PS5 player for a while and have only did PC gaming on my GTX 960m laptop.
Question. Why are the 4070 price so different considering they are all 12 gb 4070 cards?
Price are in AUD.

Size, price, cooling power and design (i think)

  2. Different brand, design, cooling option, maybe very slight higher OC and etc.

If they using same chipset, performance going to be similar and not worth much higher price.

Just for future reference, the amount of vram doesn’t fully determine the cards power unless Nvidia pulls a sneaky like the rtx 3060 12gb vs 8gb or gtx 1060 6gb vs 3gb with the lower vram versions being cut down but having an identical name.

That being said, there is little to no difference apart from the 4070 models apart from different cooling solutions and stock clock speeds, the 4070ti is a different card though so there is a big performance difference.

    Technically,

Looks, Size, RGB, temperature, OC potential…

    In practice a 4070 is a 4070. Spending $200 more for a 4070 won’t noticeably be better.

Realistically you will be very hard pressed to notice any performance differences between the different 4070’s so just get the cheapest one.

I’ve got a MSI 1070 Aero OC that was more compact with a single fan. It was meant more for ITX-like builds. Not really sure what that means here with a different brand, a 4070, with 3 fans. Maybe this is slimmer? Or maybe it’s the cooling features or the card aesthetics.

I’d get the one with the most fans and cooling

Different models of the same gpu can have 1,2 or 3 fans and different boost speeds

Don’t forget to only get the 8GB of RAM instead of the 16, as it is the same but way less expensive

Just go to SLS and buy the parts there..

The difference is that they try to scam you with the markup of the other customcards.
