To give context, I bought a rtx 3060 on newegg for my son. I recieved the gpu and didnt even open the box as a friend of mine was selling his to me used but for a good price. I decided I would return the package and get my money back. I sent out the order and shipped it to the newegg warehouse house in Richmond Hill Ontario (where the label said). I was keeping tabs on the order and EVEN HAVE A SCREENSHOT saying the order arrived to the warehouse. Suddenly the address gets redirected to another warehouse where the package would be stuck in transit for the next month. After speaking to newegg about three times about this matter, I got an email about an hour ago saying that I shipped the package incorrectly and they refuse to refund me even though I USED THE LABEL THEY TOLD ME TO USE. I just got scammed for 450$. Extremely disappointed and will never ever use newegg again in my life. Thanks newegg my son birthday present is gone.

Can’t even dispute this with the courier? Seems a bit fishy, especially if you didn’t get the product back. They can’t just keep your money and the returned product.

I think they where selling used product as new or not getting the right product. I can’t remember but they seem to have gone downhill in the last couple years.
